Clamshell Lake is a quiet bay off the Whitefish Chain so no big waves or super fast boats to get in your way. We even have a fun little island just across from the beach. We call it Teen Island and yes the teens and their siblings alike will want to canoe, paddle boat or kayak over. If you want to keep them closer to shore, our protected swim area will be perfect for the tiny tots who want to paddle around in boats just for them. Perhaps you want to jump on the water bongo, jump off the launcher or just hang on to the floating log. It’s all here and FREE to use anytime.

For the those families who would like to venture out on the big water we have dock space and private boat launch for your own boats and of course we have a beautiful 24′ Premiere pontoon for rent by the day. If big boats and speed are what you crave we have many boat rental establishments in the area and on the chain. Just ask our friendly lodge staff, email or call ahead. We are here to help make your vacation extra special.

We also allow jet skis on the property, just let us know if you need help with rental.

No need to bring sand toys, buckets, trucks or the like. We supply all the sand toys you will need to keep your tiny tots busy at the beach.
